Pleasant Subway

Air conditioning system is installed in the waiting rooms and elevators of all stations and ventilation facility including air filters and fans is established in order to improve the air quality. In addition, the air quality inside subway station is permanently checked throughout the year and the air filters built in high performance electric filter which may remove even fine dust is installed in order to cope with environmental issues in advance.

A prompt countermeasure system in an emergency is equipped adopting a system which automatically notifies a fire to the control room when an emergency situation such as a fire occurs. Especially, the ventilation facility is designed to be automatically converted to a smoke control mode when a fire takes place in a subway facility and the air flow for smoke control is also increased by 20% comparing to legal standard in order to focus on securing client's safety.
The exit sign for evacuation of passengers in an emergency was adopted by a high luminance hybrid exit sign for easy and prompt move of clients.
The platform safety doors (screen doors) are installed in 11 stations out of 20 stations in order to prevent a safety accident such as a fall on the railway and collision with a train. The screen dorr is a safety device designed to be opened and closed interlocking with doors of train by installing a fixed wall which is separated from the railway and moveable doors on the platform of the subway train and urban railway. We will use an effort so that people could use the subway train safely by installing the screen doors in all stations till 2016.

The elevators for the disabled are installed in all stations so that the disabled and the elderly could use the subway in safe and conveniently and even normal users could approach the platform more conveniently. We use an effort for safe and systematic management of each lifting facility by cyclic inspection and replacement of decrepit parts.
